Welcome!

2014 Holyoke  Winter Carnival

February 7-16, 2014

“Winter Fun From the Mountain to the River’s Edge”

The Holyoke Winter Carnival was a great success again this year, and we’d like to thank everyone who donated their time to help make it Holyoke’s premier winter event.

We’ve  already started planning next year’s winter festivities and this summer we will be recruiting new volunteers, sponsors, and Friends of the Holyoke Winter Carnival to help us with organizing some of the great events we have planned.

Like us on Facebook if you want to be kept abreast of some of the new activities we’re developing.

2013 Winter Carnival Introduction

The Luminaria at Community Field will be a short, one-night, visual spectacle, not to be missed, headlined by Enchanted Circle Theater, a Holyoke-based educational theater company that will bring its theatrical magic to the park with larger-than-life masks, puppets and costumed creatures.

The sunset timed event will begin at 6:00 p.m. as dusk begins to settle over Holyoke’s newest four-season park. Over 1,000 candle lit luminaries will dot the walkways of Community Field as Enchanted Circle Theater’s Creature Crawl begins its procession to open the 2013 Holyoke Winter Carnival

The night will also feature, ice skating, free hot chocolate, music, special Olympians, picture taking opportunities with family and friends, and other invited guests. The event is free and open to the public. Regular skate rental fees may apply.

Below is a schedule of Winter Carnival festivities taking place next weekend across the City of Holyoke.
