Contestants from across the Pioneer Valley will compete for the bragging honors of Best Chili and the People’s Choice award. All entries will be judged on Color, Taste, Aroma, Consistency, and Aftertaste.
The Chili Cook-Off will take place at the new Gateway City Arts, 92-114 Race St. Last year’s winners Ed and Kathleen Casey, of Springfield, prepared a scrumptious Chicken, Sausage and Apple chili to the delight of the 200 plus tasters. We’ll see if Ed and Kathleen are able to retain their titles or will have to graciously hand them over to a new winner.
